My name is Gustavo, from Buenos Aires.

I read in Pilar a diario that you have a postcard about «Moby Dick»; 12 August 1956, Nueve de Julio Avenue and Sarmiento Street; BA. I gathered many testimonies of old people (my father included) about this embalmed whale:
Nadie recuerda mucho de Moby Dick

Nevertheless, the memories are not clear about the date and the circumstances of the exhibition. Is it possible for you to scan the postcard (both sides) and send it to me? I went last week to the General Archive of the Nation, but I did not find any image about this exhibition in the main place of BA, last century.

Un par de años antes del monstruo del Gran Palacio de París, Anish Kapoor expuso Memory en los museos Guggenheim de Berlín y Nueva York. Ya estaba la idea del objeto constreñido por el espacio que lo contiene, pero los espectadores podían asomarse a través de una pared al interior de la «memoria», como si quedasen agujeros negros al descolgar los cuadros de una exposición: Anish Kapoor: Memory
